I think that’s the problem. We forgot that some people are just bad and spent the last 40 years in our culture giving villains understandable motivations and emphasising shades of grey. Lots of people missed the trees for the fairy tale woods.

The conclusion to this is key and isn’t stated enough: there is no way that the courts are ultimately going to side with the government and EHRC over this debacle. Starmer et al pretending otherwise is just cowardice and liable to give them greater headaches down the line.
