My Dads friend just called round and dropped off a load of kidney/runner beans from his first crop of the year. He told me that he remembers my Dad telling him his kids just love them, and thought he would pass some on to me. And this kind act has welled me up no end. My Dad died in 2018.
Love this time of year, blackbirds singing, trees budding, just the promise of life in all non human things. Humans however, should maybe take a look at what’s around them in nature and stop being arseholes.
